Cruise along the Great Ocean Road to see the 12 Apostles or enjoy a foodie tour sampling some of the best produce this amazing area produces or perhaps move inland to experience some true bushland in the Grampian Mountain range – the choice is yours.

Wind Down the Day

After a full day of exploring, you’ll be ready for dinner so time to choose between a home cooked meal at the guesthouse with your other Pod mates or going out to experience some of the amazing restaurants in Port Fairy.

From fancy pants such as The Merrijig or Conlan’s Wine Store, or keeping it casual with pizza at Coffin Sally or a counter meal at the Oak & Anchor or The Stump.

Then it’s a short, moonlit wander back to the Whale, full and happy.

It's fascinating to stay in a property with history such as this. Port Fairy itself is very tranquil with enough to do. East beach is idyllic, in that the water doesn't go above 4 feet for most of the bay. Jess and Laurene are phenomenal, both exceptionally friendly and really work hard to make the space clean, welcoming and comfortable.
